In the face of this global crisis, we are doing everything we can to offer help to the most vulnerable in our community. Because of your support, we can also continue to run our online services and groups while maintaining a grade 1 listed building for future generations.

How can I Make a gift ?

When you give to the church, you are making a difference to the lives of people in our town. Your giving enables the church to better serve our community through offering pastoral care, funding our Parish Nurse, the Food Bank, being able to train, setting up and hosting community events, enabling school visits, and much more. What you may not know is that we receive no government support and solely depend on people’s generosity. If you feel that you could make a one-time donation, we would be so grateful for your gift.

If you love Chatteris like we do, please consider making a monthly standing order - perhaps as part of your tithe. Giving and receiving are vital signs of health and well being. This is why people of faith believe that it’s a good thing to give back to God a portion of what they have been given. It is one way that we can offer resources to help others. Your financial commitment would make a huge difference for how we can plan and budget for current and future activities.

Many members of the Church make monthly donations using the national Parish Giving Scheme as this enables you to set up a monthly pledge and review it each year. There are several advantages to this scheme. If you wish, you can make your donation anonymous. If you pay tax, the Scheme collects 25% Gift Aid extra from the government and adds it to your gift; at no cost to you and no work for us. The Gift Aid amount is sent directly to the Church account each month so we don’t need to make a separate claim. The Parish Giving Scheme is a sensible and straightforward option for regular givers because it gives peace of mind. Please click on the following link for more information.

Leaving a legacy
